I think it is amusing when you become bogged down by the insignificant things in a given situation. Things that may obscure the bigger picture. Or worse yet, may blind you to the truth. Whenever I would drown in the details of a situation my mom always told me to "stop fretting". I would become too wrapped up in the little insignificant aspects, things that didn't really matter, and fail to realize that I had nothing to fret about. This weekend I was reminded of how important it is to just be. Let go...stop fretting...and be.
Oh, and I also learned that dogs and swans have an odd proclivity toward chasing Kyle.....
It was a wonderful weekend :-)
